iCandy, the luxury British pushchair brand, celebrates its 80 year anniversary this September





This September, iCandy, the luxury British pushchair brand celebrates 80 years within the design and nursery sectors, marking this exciting milestone with the unveiling of their stunning 2014 collections, exclusive preview of their inaugural bag collection and a glamorous anniversary party. iCandy’s 80th anniversary celebrations will see 300 guests gather at One Marylebone, London, on 10th September, to commemorate the occasion and reveal the latest in cutting edge design within the nursery sector through a fashion focused catwalk show. Guests of the evening will include press, friends of the brand and a host of VIPs including mother-of-one Emilia Fox.

 

The evening will see the unveiling of iCandy’s inaugural bag collection, showcased for the very first time. Designed by ex Mulberry designer Janet Collin, a fashion conscious mother-of-two herself, the collection aims to bridge the gap between functionality and style for the modern working mother.

 

The evening will also see the official announcement of The Lullaby Trust and iCandy charity partnership, both through the event and sales of the bag collection – seeing a generous £10 of every charity handbag sold donated to The Lullaby Trust. The Lullaby Trust provides specialist support for bereaved families and anyone affected by a sudden infant death, as well as educating parents on how best to keep their babies safe during sleep.

 

iCandy is a family business owned and run by the dynamic business duo Bradley and Warren Appel who have extensive knowledge, passion and experience within the design and manufacturing industries. iCandy prides itself on usability and impeccable service, whilst ensuring safety and functionality are key priorities. iCandy has recently been heralded for its design and innovation of the first single to double pushchair within a single footprint, catering to the needs of the ever-growing family making it a truly unique product.
