For spring 2014, Basso & Brooke has developed the Basso & Brooke Studio sportswear line, a contemporary extension of the Basso Brooke main label. The initial line is focused on casual men's apparel and accessories and soon to expand further to a full range of interiors, lifestyle and accessories. Highlights from the range include collegiate blazers in alternative textiles, along with long and short sleeved shirts and above the knee shorts. Pictured here is a shirt design which comes with a plain white collar alongside swirls of deco leaves, transparent electronic dot spirals, lips and smiles and purple canines; with baseball caps to match. Sweatshirts have polka dot sleeves, and blocks of chic, bright, 1920s patterns, and a classic Japanese wave prints. There is also a line of accessories, from scarves to bags, sneakers to skateboards, all adorned with archive prints. The AW13 collection will be stocked at Selfridges, Harvey Nichols HK, Galeries Lafayette, The Webster Miami, Luisa Via Roma, Paul Smith and others worldwide.
Additionally, the Basso & Brooke website is set to relaunch in early September as an e-store, with over 200 items to choose from with worldwide delivery, while for SS14 the brand has collaborated with Italian footwear label Diemme on a range of digital printed leather sneakers and UK brand John Chapman on a collection of hand crafted canvas bags including rucksacks and holdalls.
