The high-end streetwear label Dope has expanded its flagship Fairfax boutique in Los Angeles, introducing more than 30 brands to its offering.
Dope, which launched in 2007 and opened its retail front on Fairfax in September 2011, has completely remodeled the boutique to create a clean, bright, industrial space of approximately 2,300 sq ft, revealing the new interior on July 27 2013. With the revamped design and double the size, it is clear the boutique reflects the brand’s conception and its plans for future development. The crisp new Fairfax space is designed to show the products in a clean, modular setting, with snapbacks and t-shirts lining the walls which surrounds and showcases accessories such as sunglasses, jewelry, shoes and luxury details like Malin + Goetz candles, pop art books and Jason Markk sneaker care sets. The boutique offers a multitude of essential brands, including BBC, Ice Cream, Vintage Frames Company, Timberland, Super Sunglasses, Han Cholo, KTZ, Katie Eary, Stussy, Rhodia, Fresh.i.am, Mykita, Grey Ant, Conflict of Interest, JVP Melbourne, Division of Labor, Hip & Bone, LPD, Chan Luu, Staple, 10.Deep, and Project Canvas. Along with this offering, the boutique stays devoted to showcasing its own label’s collections in a prominent fashion. In fact, Dope Homme, the higher end facet of the Dope label, is currently offered exclusively at this Fairfax location. While it might seem obvious that Dope is Los Angeles’s premier destination for those seeking unique and individual pieces of streetwear, the boutique’s vintage and dead stock offering truly justify shopping at Dope. Matte Fields, owner and founder of Dope, says: "If you're in LA and into streetwear fashion then you have to go to Fairfax, and if you're on Fairfax you will be missing out if you don't see the new Dope boutique."
Dope is at 454 North Fairfax Avenue, Los Angeles, California. Visit www.dope.comor email boutique@boutique.com
