Flagship Universal Works store opens in Soho

In 2012 David Keyte, founder of Universal Works and his trusted team set about opening their first ever stand alone store on London’s rapidly expanding and increasing fashionableLambs Conduit Street. The store offered an intimate environment with a relaxed, comfortable aesthetic that perfectly reflected Universal Works’ beliefs, mirroring the brands desire to create and provide clothes that reflect the personality of their owners; real honest menswear that defies the trends and whims of fashion.

A year on and the neat, no fuss attitude to clothing (and indeed, retail), combined with the brands loyal fan base and ability to continually provide interesting projects and exciting developments, has led to the opening of what will be the Universal Works Flagship Store. Based in the heart of Soho, the new store will be the second in the Universal Works stable. The Berwick Street store will reflect the space and atmosphere of its older brother, whilst offering new areas of creativity, from art and photography through to design, encompassing the Universal Works lifestyle.

Due to Open at the end of August, the store follows a hive of summer activity for Universal Works, from participating for the first time at London Collections: Men, through to working on the exciting ‘Also Available in Navy’ SS14 collection and launching their collaborations with John Smedley and Millican bags. All of this begs the questions, what next?
