The connection between fashion and real life has always been central to Giorgio Armani’s work. Thus, with the Frames of Life project, the designer has created a new and continuous dialogue with the public through a digital means of communication that speaks directly to today’s generation.
Now spectators can become star players on the armani.com/framesoflife website. All they have to do is take a picture on their holidays: an unforgettable moment, a place or a scene that captures life at its fullest. We are looking for the same spirit that is the inspiration for the new Frames of Life Spring/Summer 2012 advertising campaign, which can be seen on the website.
The photos can be uploaded using Instagram, currently the most popular photo-sharing platform available as an iPhone app and on Android smartphones.
To become part of this new project is incredibly simple: just take a picture of yourself – or have someone take your picture – wearing your favourite sunglasses. Then choose one of Instagram’s filters and share it on social networks, adding the hashtag #FRAMESOFLIFE. Thanks to a partnership with followgram.me, the pictures will be uploaded to the “FRAMES OF YOUR HOLIDAY” album, which can be viewed on the armani.com/framesoflife website.
The aim is to create an impressive digital photo gallery: an entertaining visual diary.
