The final ever Studio 55 event at 55DSL's Newburgh Street store promises to continue the projects rich history in supporting emerging artistic talent.
This time Bec Dennison's unique illustrative style will juxtapose the work of graphic artist Luke Embden, in one of the most immersive collaborations to date. The walls, ceilings and floor of the store will be daubed in both artists unique styles as they fight for space in an exploration of light vs dark, and bring irony and humour to the dark and surreal.
The showcase will take place on Thursday 11th November and run until Christmas 2011, before the store's imminent relocation to BOXPARK in Shoreditch. So please come and raise a glass to the end of an era at the Newburgh Street store and be sure to keep your eyes peeled for news on BOXPARK and ongoing Studio 55 projects.
