MUZUNGU SISTERS COLLABORATE WITH MISSONI AND CB MADE IN ITALY TO CREATE LIMITED EDITION SHOE IN AID OF SMALL STEPS PROJECT

Brought together by a shared goal to support the humanitarian organization and registered charity Small Steps Project, Muzungu Sisters, Missoni and CB Made In Italy have joined forces to create a capsule collection of very special limited edition loafers. Small Steps was borne out of a desire to provide shoes for those most in need – children forced to live on municipal rubbish dumps around the world. The simple fact is wearing shoes would protect children from injury and enable them to take small steps out of poverty.

The project marks the first collaboration for the Muzungu Sisters who approached both Missoni and CB Made In Italy to bring together the very finest in traditional, artisanal craftsmanship. The result is a capsule collection of three loafers made in ‘upcycled’ Missoni fabrics, kindly donated by Missoni for the project.
Fabric which would otherwise be unused and destroyed. Classic woven Missoni motifs work on the shape of a slipper style loafer.
