Cartier......the Santos was Cartier's first watch that they made and now the world is endless from what they produce .... I myself if you see on my instagram I wear alot of cartier watches and jewellery but now their watches are jewellery first and watches secondary ..... I've always loved the Santos and I'm old enough to remember when the originals were sold for £400 which was alot back in the day but affordable and if I knew I would have bought many and sat on them ..... It's the model that has been updated and modernised and the model that new money wants and that's no respect to new money as the economy needs new money ......

THIS WEEK'S MOST WANTED ......

This week's most wanted is from Cartier which I have been wearing for years ... I have four Love bracelets I was given two when I was in love and the other two I bought myself to say Leroy I love you and for fashion.......  I went into the Cartier store in London to buy two Cartier Juste Un Clou (nail) bangles and they saw me coming as a good customer they offered me champagne and convinced me that as a "socialite" I needed to be different so I came out plied in champagne and one Juste Un Clou bracelet encrusted in diamonds which costs more than two smalls without diamonds .... but I'm happy because they were right! now on my radar it has been for nearly a year is the Cartier Ecrou de Cartier bangle I have been fighting it and I have not seen many people wearing it probably because the Kardashian's are not wearing it yetso now is a good time to jump on it before the high priced bracelet gets even higher but it's Cartier so it's an investment ....

TODAY'S STACK ......

Like I posted the other day the latest trend is stacking on the wrist and the higher the volume and more expensive the better ...... with this I would say stack to what you can afford .... Instagram is the place to show out your pieces I'm a blogger not a influencer so I'm all about putting my news through the blog and it's so embarrassing on Instagram people wearing fakes and getting likes more than people who wear the real deal and I am not just talking about me!

So today I had a busy day and kept it simple but expensive which is what the trend is about pure opulence

TODAY'S STACK .......

New feature on the blog .... today's stack which covers my wrist armour on one of the biggest trends .... if you believe Instagram everyone has a Cartier Love bangle and worse 5,6,7,8, of them I'm old school and had these things from the 80s and 90s so you can be assured mine are real.....

here's a couple of my stacks which includes an impulse buy of the Pave diamond Just un Clou bracelet which I wont even say how much it costs but a royalties cheque came in and instead of  saving I treated myself

MUST SEE - CARTIER RE-RELEASE AN ICON .... THE CARTIER PANTHERE....

May 5th in Los Angeles and a few days later in Hong Kong Cartier threw the parties of all parties to relaunch what is one if not their best iconic watches ........ The Panthere ..... As you can see from the pictures below I am on it and funnily enough I beat Anna Dello Russo on this trend and more importantly I bought mine!

The Panther is not the first ever watch produced by Cartier that accolade goes the the Santos model which is still alive and kicking today ... with the Panthere I was first turned on to it in the 80s growing up and watching Dynasty and the Colby's and saw Alexis aka Joan Collins wearing one and from then I said I wanted one ........

The Panthere in the 80s and 90s was a sign of wealth and went alongside the old green American Express card and both became must have items for traders on Wall Street and their partners (that's where I lived at the time) fast forward to the mid 90s and with the introduction of new models such as the tank Francaise Cartier was moving with the times.  A few years before this I was in Miami with my large size White Gold model below and an associate said to me "wow keep hold of that as you can only now get small and medium sizes and that will become a collector's item) for years it was there just sitting in my safe as I tried out brands like Rolex, Tag, Hublot and Theo Fennell to name a few and last year I decided to start wearing it again after I found out it's value ... my thought on this was if your going to get robbed at least give them something to rob! along with Love bracelets (I have a few Long story) and a newly accquired Juste un Clou diamond pave bracelet I jumped on the latest trend ....... The Cartier wrist stacks and more and more the Panthere was present on Instagram and people would ask and say they wish they could get that model

Fast forward to today Cartier has relaunched the Panthere and a new generation can't get enough of it and are snapping up mainly the yellow gold model ..... one thing with the Panthere and why it was and is once again the must have watch to wear is 

It's a great day piece...

In modern times it's great for the Cartier stack trend

and best of all what I like the most is ...

with the Panthere the design was all about jewellery first which the design screams this to you and secondly it was a watch!

Check out my model and the newly launched Panthere I really can't see any if much of a difference, for this reason I wont invested in the modern Panthere not unless peers put me under pressure but if I do buy a new model I will never get rid of my 90s white gold model ... like the associate said keep it .... collector's item

Right now the trend is all about cartier stacks and I've succumbed to it check out my main page ... we love the Cartier Love Bracelet, the Juste un Clou but one of the hottest ones to jump on is the ecrou de Cartier which is inspired by nuts and bolts ⚡️ available to buy cartier at harrods in the fine jewellery room and of course at Cartier .....

I've been wearing the Love bracelet for years two of them and I stopped but I'm happy these and Cartier bracelets in general as the most haves ... I keep saying to myself I started this stack trend as in the 90s I always wore two, but that's nothing now as avid collectors are wearing 6,7,8 at a time  so that means I have a lot of catching up to do

I've gone from being a golden boy of blogging in the UK to being known for drama (I call it talking the truth and being real) but through all adversity and people bad mouthing me I go out and do my thing ... funny I think now all the blogs about blogger fraud etc I think people believe me now and what's funny some are claiming the fame as they found out about it first and getting patted on their backs ... no mention of me though 

My family and real friends all two of them call me resourceful well so be it I just go out and do my thing my hits are higher than ever in the millions and I like the fact the current bloggeratti have nothing to show for their work and still work two or maybe three jobs 

I'm not gloating but I do my thing and like that I can go out and buy things like this Cartier Juste une Clou bangle if I want it 

It was on my lust list for a couple of months I talked myself out of it saying I didn't need it but obviously I did ... I want a plain gold one to match my love bangles to which I have three .. two I don't wear as they were given to me in the spirit that Cartier intended ... your in love and your lover screw it on your wrist it's like modern day branding ... I only wear one love bangle which I bought myself to say that I love myself and with this new bangle I thought what the hell rather than buy the plain gold starter one get one embellished with diamonds

I love my blog again and love blogging again and from the negative feedback I get which I may add is always done in private messaging alot of people don't like that I have got my mojo back .... apparently I put it out there ... well from the horses mouth I don't I just post what other people post but the real version not the fake ones like I see on Instagram 

So why is it a problem?

Like other thirsty bloggers which I'm not I just go out and get mine and don't take anyone down or bad mouth anyone I don't have the time

Rihanna collaborates with one of my favourite jewellers...... Chopard and comes up with a very impressive collection/collaboration .... some might say she just put her name to it but I disagree if its anything like her previous collaborations especially her Puma one .... Rihanna is in the thick of it... if you follow me often you know I'm not a fan of celebrity collections or collaborations but there are a couple who have won me over ie Victoria Beckham, Oliver Proudlock and now Rihanna ....

Louis Vuitton unveils The Lockit Collection

Louis Vuitton has unveiled a new range of jewellery titled The Lockit Collection. Bracelets feature padlocks and are fashioned in rose, yellow or white gold, while the padlock’s fine jewellery version is decorated in diamonds, and is an exact working replica of a real lock, with an accompanying white gold key.  Necklaces and rings are also offered in The Lockit collection, which will be available in Louis Vuitton stores as of January 2013, with prices ranging from €1600 to €14,000.
