Really have no time for this chick! when we first met it was not good .... it was her manager who said OH! your a judge and part of the Top Model Family and I said yes and he then asked if I knew Winnie .... I didn't and he said he would introduce me .... I put my hand out to shake and she just ignored me and then he suggested I take a selfie so I then sat next to her and she was just too much trouble .... so I got up and walked and SHE was offended ..... Millennials that's all I'm saying it was dark skinned ones like us who pathed the way ...... I have since been in her company maybe because I was saying hi to Naomi and she was interested then but I wasn't ........

I love that Naomi Campbell walked for Dolce&Gabbana she was look number 100 and if you ,ook at her Instagram you can see how nervous she was ... she hasn't walked for the brand in years but for this show they called on professionals such as Naomi, Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls who all stole the show.... note not a mention of fast track rich kid millennial models..... I am very lucky as I've see Naomi walked tons of times and what always happens once the audience sees her there is always a round of applause this doe not happen for everyone but it does for the likes of Naomi and Kate ... but Naomi is truly and will always be queen of the catwalk and I'm happy that once just once for a Versace show I was fortunate to walk with her ....... It's amazing to see how our lives have turned out I still model after 25 years and have problems booking shows as I am considered old but I do well in campaigns ... I've been branded an ageing supermodel in european press but in my home town London I am considered as nothing even though people know my history


I love you Naomi and do it for as long as you can because I am ...... I'm still signed and I have just booked a TV campaign .... so you girl and create that BLACK GIRL MAGIC!!

MUST SEE - CARTIER RE-RELEASE AN ICON .... THE CARTIER PANTHERE....

May 5th in Los Angeles and a few days later in Hong Kong Cartier threw the parties of all parties to relaunch what is one if not their best iconic watches ........ The Panthere ..... As you can see from the pictures below I am on it and funnily enough I beat Anna Dello Russo on this trend and more importantly I bought mine!

The Panther is not the first ever watch produced by Cartier that accolade goes the the Santos model which is still alive and kicking today ... with the Panthere I was first turned on to it in the 80s growing up and watching Dynasty and the Colby's and saw Alexis aka Joan Collins wearing one and from then I said I wanted one ........

The Panthere in the 80s and 90s was a sign of wealth and went alongside the old green American Express card and both became must have items for traders on Wall Street and their partners (that's where I lived at the time) fast forward to the mid 90s and with the introduction of new models such as the tank Francaise Cartier was moving with the times.  A few years before this I was in Miami with my large size White Gold model below and an associate said to me "wow keep hold of that as you can only now get small and medium sizes and that will become a collector's item) for years it was there just sitting in my safe as I tried out brands like Rolex, Tag, Hublot and Theo Fennell to name a few and last year I decided to start wearing it again after I found out it's value ... my thought on this was if your going to get robbed at least give them something to rob! along with Love bracelets (I have a few Long story) and a newly accquired Juste un Clou diamond pave bracelet I jumped on the latest trend ....... The Cartier wrist stacks and more and more the Panthere was present on Instagram and people would ask and say they wish they could get that model

Fast forward to today Cartier has relaunched the Panthere and a new generation can't get enough of it and are snapping up mainly the yellow gold model ..... one thing with the Panthere and why it was and is once again the must have watch to wear is

and best of all what I like the most is ...

with the Panthere the design was all about jewellery first which the design screams this to you and secondly it was a watch!

Check out my model and the newly launched Panthere I really can't see any if much of a difference, for this reason I wont invested in the modern Panthere not unless peers put me under pressure but if I do buy a new model I will never get rid of my 90s white gold model ... like the associate said keep it .... collector's item

I got caught up and mainly focus on brands and their news, their collections etc... but obviously this is not what they want so i'm going back to my roots more reviews and outfit posts etc... basically doing what I want to do and blog what I think should be featured .... instead of chasing celebrity news and what they are wearing .... ok I will still be doing what i'm doing but like most successful blogs which are me, me , me .. Well here we go a day in the life of the Clotheshorse

Well I wake up in the morning answer my emails answer emails to PR that that are always reaching out to me to be featured on the diary of the clotheshorse which it's over 1 million views a month but they don't want to pay.  So after I make my way through all the shitI then go on to social media and answer message from fans and followers.  Now what you see below is an example of some of the things I get daily and have to deal with it's just another way of trying to put black people down I take in my stride now because what else can I do some people just don't like to see black people advancing that's their issue not mine why is you are having a problem with me my problem? 

Know if you all think I'm sitting here living LaVida loco this prove to you that I'm not a lot of stuff goes into what I do and a lot of hard work it doesn't just happen especially being a person of colour

So despite some issues happening in my personal life at the moment some things at London Collections Men I am obligated to attend ie contracted so I'm not doing the schedule just shows I have to go to 

So that said and done last night I attended the storm model party in association with Hunger Magazine and bumped into Rob Evans who knew me as he's seen my Top Model work and of course I've seen his ...so here's the picture 

What was sad was Tyson Beckford was there also and we were waiting on him to take a pic of a trio of Top Model Judges but we couldn't find him

Anyone can blog but it takes a special person to be a professional blogger and actually make money doing so and believe it or not contrary to what you see on Instagram from

Bloggers ie I'm doing this im doing that blah blah ... Not a lot of money exchanges from hand to hand.  

This year has seen me in campaigns, on tv and styling crazy whilst still holding down a part time job which I like to call my rainy day job so there's always money coming in if invoices don't get paid on time or if there's no work around because technically I'm

Now for the art of letting go part .. Whilst doing this you have friends who follow on your journey your there cheerleader and they are yours but recently the streets have been talking and I'm hearing really bad things but my deal is to work not to make friends with PR's so they become

Friends rather than business associates ... When your in business you have to differentiate the difference even though this is the normal practice in London friends rather than business but let's see how far you get with that  ... I now don't have an agent because of this but that's life no one is going to steal my shine because they are plateauing and I'm not .... And even more childish telling other bloggers not to talk to me ... #ouch

So now it's time to breathe and let go without feeling guilty and hope that they will get bored of spreading rumours about me well in London ... In life your journey is not a straight road in business it's much the same but recently it's getting a little bit more cut throat so on that note I'm riding solo and I think that's best when you look at some of the best bloggers Bryan Boy, Susie Bubble they travel alone and I always use to think mmmm... Loner but now I think smart

I know many bloggers out there who doctor their blog clock to make it look as though they are top dog and technically they can't muscle up a thousand views a week and then get upset with you because your getting the hits and doing it the right way and they then resort to underhand tactics but get away it because they are friends with PR's who In turn are not doing their jobs correctly and allowing it to happen ... What will the brand you are looking after think about this?  You invite friends to an event or do free work for publicity and then send out press releases to bloggers such as myself sometimes begging to be featured because you haven't  drummed up enough publicity or views because your friends blog is not big enough to get the hits or publicity to satisfy your client ...

For me I'm stepping away from it ...letting go ... Walking away from the drama of it ... I'm just doing me and continue to do what I do ON MY OWN! but be warned any blogger that comes for me unannounced I will expose them ... That's not a threat it's a promise because these bloggers are spoiling what should be a career for some and a fun hobby for others ....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! today October 31st the Diary of a clotheshorse turns 4 years old .... they said it wouldnt last but I had to prove them wrong ... it's not been an easy ride from the humble beginning in my kitchen to where it has arrived today .



as the number above shows the blog is on fire it has been name one of the top 50 in the world by the BFC so who needs an award and its lead me on to so many things contributing in top publications, such as the stylist, Ive featured in many magazine and had a spread in Vogue, I'm a judge at Fashion Marine Fest, Top Model, I DJ, im a stylist to a host of celebrities .... so it's turned out good but mainly overseas ....

In my home country I feel as though I'm still not taken too seriuosly because of the way I blog but my job is to get the message out asap for you the reader .. i'm not like other bloggers who plan blogging days and burn candles to relax and beat around the bush whilst blogging  .... for me every day is a blogging day as fashion is a 24 hour business and I seem to be penalised by my UK peers who spread gossip, email vile things etc ...

four years on and I'm still here only good can come so for me it's onwards and upwards because whether people want to work with me or not


I'M GOING NO WHERE .....
