MUST SEE - HAPPY 4 TH BIRTHDAY - DIARY OF A CLOTHESHORSE

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! today October 31st the Diary of a clotheshorse turns 4 years old .... they said it wouldnt last but I had to prove them wrong ... it's not been an easy ride from the humble beginning in my kitchen to where it has arrived today .



as the number above shows the blog is on fire it has been name one of the top 50 in the world by the BFC so who needs an award and its lead me on to so many things contributing in top publications, such as the stylist, Ive featured in many magazine and had a spread in Vogue, I'm a judge at Fashion Marine Fest, Top Model, I DJ, im a stylist to a host of celebrities .... so it's turned out good but mainly overseas ....

In my home country I feel as though I'm still not taken too seriuosly because of the way I blog but my job is to get the message out asap for you the reader .. i'm not like other bloggers who plan blogging days and burn candles to relax and beat around the bush whilst blogging  .... for me every day is a blogging day as fashion is a 24 hour business and I seem to be penalised by my UK peers who spread gossip, email vile things etc ...

four years on and I'm still here only good can come so for me it's onwards and upwards because whether people want to work with me or not


I'M GOING NO WHERE .....


Thank you all for your support over the last four years I could not have done it without you and cheers to many more ... the only thing you can do which would put a smile on my face is kepp following, keep reading and tell your friends and families once again thank you so much

Inspired by the eclectic nature of  Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren and AVICII’s envelope-pushing new sound — a blend of electronic dance music,  bluegrass, alt rock and more — the new video sets the latest hit “Addicted to You” off of AVICII’s album, TRUE, against the brand’s hometown of New York City.

Shot by Mark Seliger, the spring ’14 video takes the Denim & Supply cast on a journey from the Lower East Side to AVICII’s sold-out show at the Roseland Ballroom, set against Audra Mae’s sassy and powerful vocals and AVICII’s driving beat. Of the sound featured in the video, AVICII says, “It's about making something that really excites me. I want to expand my own musical knowledge and try to make something that feels fresh and true.”

GIRL CRUSH - SOLANGE KNOWLES

I'm sure alot of yourselves who get the newsletter daily, visit daily or read whenever you can have noticed recently my one man campaign called "What about Solange?" she's a star in her own right but I think she should be alot bigger .... superstar status and more ... I Love the whole family I mean look at what they have all achieved ... I tell you Beyonce and Solange have cheered me up to no end with their music when I'm down...


So tight now I'm having the biggest girl crush on Solange ... she is just amazing ... a dancer, a dj, a singer, a sister, actress, mother, style icon ... do I need to go on?  in the style stakes she never ever ever gets it wrong she has her own unique style that I love so much and as a stylist she would be my dream client as she like to play and be playful with fashion .... most of us strip back runway looks when we are styling clients but this girl vamps it up ... never mind double print clashes, she goes for triple and it looks amazing! Just once, Just once I tell I would love to style her and for free and would be at her beckon call...

Now let's talk hair ... does every style out there suit her? erm YES! but its the afro and my personal favourite  ... the cropped hairstyle ...

DJ ... she is one of the hottest ones around I was  fortunate to attend a party she was DJ'ing at and OMG! she's hot!

Now let's take her music ... she is if I be honest not a strong singer like sister but her songs have substance, meaning and will have you singing along...  just like this track ... losing you ...


So there we have it ... and no I'm not a stalker ... my experience with Solange is a good one ... I did a last minute trip to Milan a year or so ago ... did do my hair and did not have special clothes I mean after all i was attending a Dolce&Gabbana party which are legendary and commands the elite as guests .. ok im rambling ... so I was at the party and guess who walks in? Solange! we took a picture had a chat and I was hooked.... the picture is on my blog Im trying to find it but I cant as I didn't tag the post and as you know the site is live and is updated with news instantly so lots of posts (sad face) but when i do find it I will post it ...
