INTRODUCING 'BAD NERD'

Cheap Monday 's Bad Nerd celebrates our inner nerd. For Pre-Fall 2016 Cheap Monday presents the collection Bad Nerd.Without nerds there would be no progress, creativity or innovation in the world, but nerds are often laughed at. This collection celebrates our inner nerd, we are nerds and we are proud.

The collection is inspired by the classical nerd aesthetic with strange colour combinations, awkward patterns and typical hand-me-down garments. Also looking at Scouts for inspiration, patches and badges are a strong feature in the collection.

MENSWEAR COLLECTION

For men the shape is more fitted and shrunken with standout pieces in jacquard knit, other key details are the badges and contrast stitching. In denim the seasonal offer reflects Bad Nerd perfectly with tighter fitting looks and scout style merit patches adding a nice detail. The denim is tinted, worn and mended with offset blue tones and repair embroideries in slightly off-colour threads. The overall silhouette is shrunken with details such as geometrical shapes and contrast stitching. The optic dogtooth print goes through the whole collection as well as seasonal colours in orange and teal.
