Introducing Statement Styles from Christian Louboutin's Spring Summer 2014 collection, which launches in store early March. Christian selects a small edit of his favorite styles from the women’s as well as the men’s collections, which will be available in all Christian Louboutin boutiques globally for SS14.
The women’s Collection consists of the Khepira handbag as well as From Sand Flat summer boot and reflects the theme of color blocking which has a strong presence in the Spring Summer 2014 collection. From Sand Flat is a summer boot offered in a soft black nappa leather and a luxurious beige suede, with open heels and toes reminiscent of a Spartan style sandal.
The Khepira shoulder bag is crafted in rich calf leather, has concealed pockets, a roomy interior and adjustable straps making this an ideal day bag while the precious brass scarab beetle clasp adds an element of the exotic, its inspiration found in Mr. Louboutin’s love of ancient Egypt, where scarabs were often used as amulets and served as symbols of protection.
The men’s collection consists of the Aliosha Backpack as well as Yacht Flat Spikes which highlights bright colours and celebrates the spirit of the Spring Summer 2014 collection. Yacht Flat Spikes is a summer style offered in a dark beige Mastic nappa leather and a luxurious Riviera blue, with tone on tone spikes and metal eyelets pays homage to the classic boat shoe.
The Aliosha backpack has numerous pockets, colour blocking in the design and geometric touches , with white metal eyelets and zipper details, the Aliosha completes the men’s collection
