Agnona ‘Cara’ Bag
Cult; cultural objects that transcend eras and pass over trends. Purity of form, rational lines, functionality, Italian artisanal construction of the highest possible quality and above all, noble materials; these are the foundations of the CARA: a new bag by AGNONA, the first ever designed by Stefano Pilati for the Italian house.
A design born from the study of and interest in minimal lines combined with a personal vision of fashion, culture and society; the same vision that the designer applies to the aesthetic codes of his ready to wear.
A geometric shape unique in its kind developed through a creative process focused contrasting experiences and diverse “worlds” into one unique object; the typical lines of 1950’s sport’s bags; double-closures; the dynamism of sportswear kits and the functionality of masculine bags. CARA introduces a transversal attitude into the bag category and it is instantly timeless, sporty and elegant. The CARA is developed in “Agnona Granato”: an exclusive naturally full-skinned grained leather, lending its name from Granato (garnet), a precious stone. The CARA is advertised in a campaign shot by Inez & Vinoodh and interpreted by model/actress Dree Hemnigway.
