GIORGIO ARMANI CONTINUES TO SUPPORT THE NEW GENERATION OF DESIGNERS

GIORGIO ARMANI CONTINUES TO SUPPORT
THE NEW GENERATION OF DESIGNERS

Continuing the program that started in 2013 in support of young international creativity and Italian fashion in particular, Giorgio Armani will host the au jour le jour fashion show at the Armani / Teatro for the next edition of Milan Fashion Week.

Au jour le jour is the brand founded in 2010 by Mirko Fontana and Diego Marquez, with the desire to combine the quality and sophistication of Italian fashion in a cool, ironic and recognizable style that features pop-cartoon prints that are always vibrant and colorful.

“I like the way in which today’s young designers seek to establish themselves, in using every kind of channel. I admire resourcefulness and decided to support it. Au jour le jour is a collection that the two designers Mirko and Diego were able to promote, above all, through social networks. I hope that my support is a good omen," said Giorgio Armani.

“We are excited about the great opportunity that Giorgio Armani has given us. He arrived at an extremely significant time for our project, which we continue to work on with passion, determination and above all with the desire to create new styles. For emerging - and more importantly independent - designers, being sponsored by such an influential name not only represents a unique chance in terms of visibility but also serves as an incentive to do better, to show just how precious the attention that has been given to us really is,” said Mirko Fontana and Diego Marquez.
