The MARNI TRUNK is the new iconic bag for the MARNI Resort 2014 collection
The MARNI TRUNK is inspired by Consuelo Castiglioni’s passion for bicycles, recalling the technical lines and design of traditional bike wear. It is offered in two sizes for day, as well as one for evening. Volume is defined by the TRUNKs multiple compartments and fanned accordion profile and it easily transitions from a hand to shoulder bag with its adjustable straps.
The MARNI TRUNK is constructed in an array of leathers with varying finishing techniques: in calfskin with lacquered trims and in polished pastel capra with ivory piping, evoking a sporting aesthetic. The precise lines of the MARNI TRUNK are further stressed in the polished silver and gold editions, while the python and silk models convey a more eccentric feel.
