Gucci Princetown unwrapping

This is a very late post... but I took the plunge and bought the classic Princetown slippers from Gucci I decided if I was going to spend that much money on a pair of shoes I was not going to buy a pair that was seasonal..... This has never been a problem with Christian Louboutin but I suppose with Gucci I was testing the waters and honestly???? I absolutely love them and because they are classic my SA at Gucci advised me that these were not going anywhere for now as they are now considered classics and true to her word they are showing again for the next two seasons ..... I'm now thinking of taking the plunge and buying a pair of fashion ones ... stay tuned because if I do I want a pair that will have a good resale value ... do you think about this when you are buying designer goods? from what I see on Instagram noooooooooo......

I'm so happy I bought mine when I did before the brand announced that they would no longer use fur ..... My Princetown are Rabbit fur and this not that I should celebrate should become collectors items ... just as long as you keep the paperwork and receipts etc ....

DONE ...!!!!

Sweatshirts have never been more in fashion at the moment well for the last couple of seasons ..... I've totally jumped on the trend and it's all about how you wear them .... forget about chav chic and think about dressing them up with a great pair of trousers and amazing shoes ... for inspiration check out my Instagram where I've been doing the trend not only with sweatshirts but also T shirts which believe it or not is big business now in the winter .......

Do look around though as I found great ones at Karl Lagerfeld, H&M and a few other high street stores..... but if you do want that designer sweatshirt check out multiple store because I've noticed if you buy one in Gucci you could have got it slightly cheaper in a store such as Flannels .....


we all want to save money right? these are just a few that I like but there are many my style is classic because I want to be able to wear clothes I buy in years to come seasonal is good for the season and you should remember this when clothes shopping especially with prices nowadays .... gone are the days for me and many when I use to have press discount cards for many designer stores ... those days are gone so we are all watching the pennies!

I FOUND MY WINTER COAT ......

 I saw it at the show .... I sat frow and saw this beauty coming down the runway at Dolce&Gabbana AW 17 in Milan at the Metropol and it was love at first sight ..... now it's not a pre order or special order it's available worldwide and why I have not bought it yet is because it's still warm enough and if I'm honest I'm trying to get my head around the £2,550 price tag ..... the most I've ever spent on a coat is £1,250 and that was for a Hugo Boss military coat.... then there was the Ungaro Peacoat for £1,100 but this is major ..... I want it but have to justify the purchase ......


What do you think???





What I like is it's current, seasonal but in 5 to 10 years if I look after it (which I'm bad at.. everyone wants that open big closet but no one ever says anything about dust mites and moths because you wear it a few times and leave it and the next time you go for it it has moth holes)

I'm going to come clean and for someone who was a hater ...... now I'm a lover and Alessandro Michele is one of the best things to happen to Gucci and on Par with Tom Ford .... he's nearly there for me to take over as the best creative director Gucci ever had .... I think he has but i'm in denial and still living in the late 90s and early 2000's 


here is the latest campaign which is tres sci fi and after the pre fall he's managed to top it as the pre fall with it's Northern soul feel, filmed in London just around the corner from where I live they had a party and filmed the campaign and I was not invited as my contacts at Gucci UK have moved on to pastures new .....

Alessandro is the best!!!! why? I'm now buying Gucci again because as you know I pay for my own shit!!!

MY THOUGHTS - THE FULL - Dsquared2 Fall Winter 2017/18 AD Campaign

Love, love, love this campaign and Dsquared2 in general I love the guys (Dean and Dan) and I know the guys and I'm ashamed to say I've not been practising what I've been preaching for years which is support your friends or the people you know ....... The last time I bought Dsquared2 and I just check through my clothes was SS 15 and shame on me as my reviews for the last 3 seasons have been outstanding for the brand .... come on SS 17 the twins interpretation of the Mod and Glam Rock which filters through slightly to this collection even though it goes a different way but I get the message ......

This Ad campaign has a message and I'm not going to say what ... the comment box is all yours to let me know what you think the message is as different people have different views on what they see but the only clue I'm going to give is it's a strong clue and touches on LGBT


Ok so I'll leave it like this ..... this week I'm going to have a shopping day even though I've nearly completed buying my TV wardrobe for the two shows I start filming soon which includes Top Model... but I'm going out and getting some new season and hopefully I can get SS17 as that collection was amazing but I'm going out to get some pieces in my closet which will be seasonal but the way I shop they will last for many seasons.......
