I wasn't suppose to blog as because of the influencer shit now I blog every other day and still hit 2 million views a month ... just sayin but as a veteran model I saw this show today and had to blog ... I was there for the original with Gianni and now witnessed the remake with Donatella .......





Social media has a lot to answer to especially Instagram and does not pay homeage to the male supermodel otherwise who knows I might have been there for the menswear show ... even so I would have known and liked 3  models who would have been there .....





You think you know me .... you don't I paid my dues ..... Gianni Versace used me to walk his shows a couple of times .....



I'm more than that person who you all ignore and dodge on social media .... there was not camera's on phones or even phones back then otherwise it would have been something different





I suck it up!!! I don't mind erase me ................I'm still doing good and modelling ...... let's not forget about the male models of the same era .....

Kipling x Helena Christensen AW13 Collaboration Launch Event

Guests gathered at the East London hotspot Beach Blanket Babylon, 4th April 2013, to celebrate with Helena Christensen and the Kipling team their new collaboration bag range hitting stores mid September.

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with glasses of champagne and exotic cocktails. The new collection was displayed as an art installation and was a talking point for the guests as they mingled throughout the night. The bags inspired by and featuring Helena’s own photography were seen on the arms of the socialites and fashion scene regulars as they chatted to Helena to learn more about her inspirations.

Helena’s friend and fellow upcoming model Arran Sly, face of Calvin Klein, was seen dancing the night away with his model friends to the tunes on play by firm favourite London scene DJs Tabitha from Queens of Noize and Lou from New Young Pony Club. Socialite and fashion journalist Henry Conway made a fashion statement with his bold blue glasses on the night. I myself made the pictures seen here doing what I do best clutching a glass of champagne.

Helena made a grand entrance to the venue supporting her new Kipling rose print clutch from her range and grabbing everyone’s attention as the doors opened at 7:30pm. The party scene regulars were seen queuing up to get their own polaroid shots taken by the polaroid photographers capturing the guests special Kipling moments from the night hosted by Helena herself.

Friday, November 4, 2011: Rock icons DURAN DURAN, who have made some of the most-watched music videos of all time, have raised the bar yet again with the launch of their latest nine-minute short film, for the song “Girl Panic !”, taken from their recent, critically-acclaimed new album ALL YOU NEED IS NOW.

Directed by award-winning Jonas Åkerlund, this dazzling new video reunites five of the world’s top supermodels: Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen and Yasmin Le Bon with the members of Duran Duran in a short film that was shot in London, in and around The Savoy, over two days earlier this summer.

Made in association with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS, this stunning video showcases the performance skills of the five ‘supers’ as they take on the roles of the members of the band, in a day-in-the-life-of expose. Made to top every video of the past, “Girl Panic !” has every ounce of trademark DURAN DURAN humour and glamour.

Bringing their style, irreverence and distinctive personality to each character Naomi Campbell steps up to the mic as lead singer Simon Le Bon, Cindy Crawford strikes a pose as bassist John Taylor, Eva Herzigova embodies keyboardist Nick Rhodes as the only blonde in the band, Helena Christensen rocks out as drummer Roger Taylor and Yasmin Le Bon makes a droll turn as ‘the anonymous guitarist’. While the “real” members of DURAN DURAN cameo as bellhops, waiters, chauffeurs and paparazzi, and designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana play guest fashion editors for the day during a photoshoot scene.

The film was produced by Black Dog Films for DURAN DURAN, in association with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS, who incorporated not only fashion and jewellery made with the world famous crystals, but also sparkling interior objects, furniture and the Swarovski Crystal Curtain.

Duran Duran keyboardist Nick Rhodes, speaking of the project from New York, where the band have just completed a six week US tour said today: “I’d had this crazy idea for a video for the song Girl Panic !, that looked fantastic on paper, but that I thought in reality would be impossible to pull off. The idea was to recreate a day-in-the-life of the band, with five of the world’s greatest supermodels playing all of us. At the time, I had no idea what would be involved in making it happen, but we talked to Jonas about it and he loved the basic concept and wanted to develop it into something really unique – and so it all began.”

Duran Duran lead singer Simon Le Bon added: “We have made some pretty ambitious videos over the years, but this one was certainly the most challenging to date. Coordinating the schedules of five of the world’s biggest supermodels, Jonas, and the band was no easy task – but we couldn’t be happier with the finished film. It has all of the ingredients that we feel are important – it’s humorous, glamorous, sexy and very Duran Duran.

Bassist John Taylor continues “We teamed up with Swarovski Elements, who provided some incredible pieces for the video that brought a real beauty to it. The “Girl Panic !” video comes hot on the heels of DURAN DURAN’s, sold out North American Fall tour which has garnered some of their finest reviews to date. The digital version of ALL YOU NEED IS NOW hit #1 on the iTunes Albums Charts in 15 countries before the release of the 14-track LP earlier this year. SUPERMODELS REUNITE FOR HARPER BAZAAR DECEMBER 2011 COVER

It's what you would call a money shot!  5 supermodel of yesterday who are still relevant today cover December's Harper's Bazaar....  Yasmin le Bon,  Helena Christiansen, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Eva Herzigova team up for this shot Jonas Akerlund for Harper's Bazaar ....... Some say there is an issue with airbrushing but I think these women look hot no matter what!! The image is an impressive showcase not only for Dolce & Gabbana corsets (the designers mastermind the look of the cover) , but for the remarkable longevity of fashion's greatest generation of clotheshorses - the supermodels.

Today's song is from Chris Isaak and its of course Wicked Game..... This is such a beautiful song with an equally beautiful and artistic video featuring Helena Christiansen (think I spelt that right).


"Wicked Game" is a 1989 song by Chris Isaak from his third studio album Heart Shaped World. It is written in the mode of B Dorian. Despite being released as a single in 1989, it did not become a hit until it was later featured in the David Lynch film Wild at Heart.
