We as professionals in the fashion industry have still not learnt our lesson....  well I have ... I don't buy things because I see a rich kid wearing them in a campaign all I think is lazy .... Oh as ugly as I am I wish my mother was Cindy Crawford...... Kaia who all the mags big up for me looks like a deer caught in headlights .... her brother Presley is a different story .... there are many celeb kids who I have seen but I'm not in the hype who would be good for campaigns such as scaring raccoons, danger signs etc and nope I'm not going to mention names but if you search my site you will see who I'm on about ......ok here's one Lennox Gallagher OH COME ON!!... I was luck enough to be scouted over 25 years ago as ugly as I am and guess what I am still signed and have seen these celeb models come and go ... I was luck enough to walk Tom Ford for Gucci and an original Gianni Versace show and I'm still here!! now what gets me in trouble is I am all about the underdog authentic scouting on the streets the same way Cindy (who fast tracked her kids) Naomi, Kate, Christy were scouted ..

I was there for the original with Gianni and now witnessed the remake with Donatella .......





Social media has a lot to answer to especially Instagram and does not pay homeage to the male supermodel otherwise who knows I might have been there for the menswear show ... even so I would have known and liked 3  models who would have been there .....





You think you know me .... you don't I paid my dues ..... Gianni Versace used me to walk his shows a couple of times .....



I'm more than that person who you all ignore and dodge on social media .... there was not camera's on phones or even phones back then otherwise it would have been something different





I suck it up!!! I don't mind erase me ................I'm still doing good and modelling ...... let's not forget about the male models of the same era .....

Versace is pleased to unveil its inaugural advertising campaign for Young Versace, a first line collection for boys and girls aged from 0-12. The Spring/summer 2012 campaign features 10-year old Kaia Gerber, the daughter of Cindy Crawford, one of Gianni Versace’s supermodel muses.

“Like her mother, Kaia has a very special gift. The camera really, really loves her,” said Donatella Versace, Creative Director of Versace. “Having Cindy on-set for the shoot took me back to all the amazing Avedon shoots we worked on together. It was such a special treat watching Kaia walk in her mother's footsteps!”

“I’m so thrilled that Kaia was chosen to be part of the first Young Versace Campaign,” said Cindy Crawford. “I have so many fond memories of the times I spent with Gianni and Donatella. There is something so very special about the House of Versace. Being on-set with my daughter watching her in front of the camera was a fantastic experience. I am so proud of her.”

The campaign was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and art directed by Giovanni Bianco.

Young Versace offers the quintessential Versace style with a youthful rock ’n’ roll twist, including playful prints, vibrant colors, mixing of patterns and a reinterpretation of the house’s iconic Greek key motif and Medusa head logo.

The Fall/Winter 2012-13 Young Versace collection will be presented in Florence during a special event in conjunction with Pitti Immagine Bimbo on January 19, 2012.

Friday, November 4, 2011: Rock icons DURAN DURAN, who have made some of the most-watched music videos of all time, have raised the bar yet again with the launch of their latest nine-minute short film, for the song “Girl Panic !”, taken from their recent, critically-acclaimed new album ALL YOU NEED IS NOW.

Directed by award-winning Jonas Åkerlund, this dazzling new video reunites five of the world’s top supermodels: Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen and Yasmin Le Bon with the members of Duran Duran in a short film that was shot in London, in and around The Savoy, over two days earlier this summer.

Made in association with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS, this stunning video showcases the performance skills of the five ‘supers’ as they take on the roles of the members of the band, in a day-in-the-life-of expose. Made to top every video of the past, “Girl Panic !” has every ounce of trademark DURAN DURAN humour and glamour.

Bringing their style, irreverence and distinctive personality to each character Naomi Campbell steps up to the mic as lead singer Simon Le Bon, Cindy Crawford strikes a pose as bassist John Taylor, Eva Herzigova embodies keyboardist Nick Rhodes as the only blonde in the band, Helena Christensen rocks out as drummer Roger Taylor and Yasmin Le Bon makes a droll turn as ‘the anonymous guitarist’. While the “real” members of DURAN DURAN cameo as bellhops, waiters, chauffeurs and paparazzi, and designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana play guest fashion editors for the day during a photoshoot scene.

Duran Duran keyboardist Nick Rhodes, speaking of the project from New York, where the band have just completed a six week US tour said today: “I’d had this crazy idea for a video for the song Girl Panic !, that looked fantastic on paper, but that I thought in reality would be impossible to pull off. The idea was to recreate a day-in-the-life of the band, with five of the world’s greatest supermodels playing all of us. At the time, I had no idea what would be involved in making it happen, but we talked to Jonas about it and he loved the basic concept and wanted to develop it into something really unique – and so it all began.”

Duran Duran lead singer Simon Le Bon added: “We have made some pretty ambitious videos over the years, but this one was certainly the most challenging to date. Coordinating the schedules of five of the world’s biggest supermodels, Jonas, and the band was no easy task – but we couldn’t be happier with the finished film. It has all of the ingredients that we feel are important – it’s humorous, glamorous, sexy and very Duran Duran.

SUPERMODELS REUNITE FOR HARPER BAZAAR DECEMBER 2011 COVER

It's what you would call a money shot!  5 supermodel of yesterday who are still relevant today cover December's Harper's Bazaar....  Yasmin le Bon,  Helena Christiansen, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Eva Herzigova team up for this shot Jonas Akerlund for Harper's Bazaar ....... Some say there is an issue with airbrushing but I think these women look hot no matter what!!
