TOMORROWLAND Opens First U.S. Boutique in New York

TOMORROWLAND OPENS FIRST U.S. BOUTIQUE IN NEW YORK
Japanese-based fashion powerhouse TOMORROWLAND is delighted to announce the opening of its highly-anticipated first U.S. boutique. Situated in the heart of SoHo, at 476 Broome Street, TOMORROWLAND’s New York boutique incorporates both TOMORROWLAND men’s and women’s collections, along with a curated selection of niche apparel, accessories and lifestyle brands from Japan and around the world.
Like the brand itself, the TOMORROWLAND boutique is traditional yet sophisticated, highlighting Japanese craftsmanship and cleverly incorporating a variety of mixed materials that reflect the brand’s appreciation for authenticity and quality. At approximately 3,500 square feet, TOMORROWLAND’s spacious interior is designed to convey both timelessness and modernity, playing tastefully with the juxtaposition of brass, wood, glass, stone and marble.

TOMORROWLAND Founder, Mr. Hiroyuki Sasaki, is thrilled to finally announce this exciting opening, almost 38 years after the brand’s inception. “Our goal has always been to be an international company, and this year felt like the perfect time to expand to the U.S. It was an organic development and a very natural progression for the brand.”
TOMORROWLAND’s SoHo boutique takes inspiration from the brand’s Japanese locations. The boutique’s furniture, a combination of natural white oak framing and antique bronze, is designed and created by Japanese craftsmen. Exquisite custom designed rugs add warmth to the natural oak floors, which are inset with custom oversized stripes of green and white. The landmarked, pre-war building’s original features, such as majestic interior columns, are highlighted and a large skylight overhead floods the space with lots of natural light, further adding to the feeling of airy space created throughout.
The boutique’s design creates three unique shopping experiences from front to back. The first section houses accessories and features predominantly full height metal fixtures with glass shelving and an open concept allowing views and natural light into the store. The second, divided by custom glazed faux storefront system, creates the platform for women’s and men’s apparel, and accessories. The final shopping experience is dubbed the ‘White Room’ and allows for a more private shopping experience.
In addition to TOMORROWLAND men’s and women’s collections, brands carried at the boutique include JEANPAULKNOTT, KNOTT and KNOTT MEN, WANT Les Essentiels, SHIHARA, SATOMI KAWAKITA, SIRISIRI, HUM, KIMOTO GLASS, Laurence Bradant Edition, ARCHIVIA, le typographe and ARQUISTE.
TOMORROWLAND, located at 476 Broome Street, is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday – Saturday and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
