EMG - SALVAGE T’S - CYCLE 2!
The EMG Initiative is excited to announce the launch of Cycle Two of the Salvage T collection. Following in the footsteps of 2014’s
huge success, the second line is again made from repurposed fabrics with the support of some of London’s leading designers and
fashion brands including Preen, Markus Lupfer, Henry Holland, Basso and Brooke, Alex Mattson, Martine Rose,
Kitty Joseph, Alex Noble, Louise Gray and Lisa King
The 2015 collection comprises of on-off unisex T’s that can be worn back to front (2 for 1 anyone?), crop tops, T-dresses and
canvas bags and all garments will be available at the EMG pop-up at The Hackney Shop from 22nd September 2015 September as
well as at Lily Cole’s ‘Impossible’ London Bridge store and website.
EMG is continuing to raise profits for a TRAID & CHILDHOPE project to protect children in Bangladesh from accidents, trafficking
and abuse as well as guide them towards a route to education and a life off the streets while their parents work in garment
factories through providing day centres. 2014’s efforts raised a total of £3,700 and you can watch a video HERE to see how the
project has progressed so far and the impact it has made on the community.
Alex Noble, founder of EMG, comments: “I am so happy to be able to present a second cycle of the Salvage T collection. To me they are a real symbol of positivity with in the fashion Industry, an opportunity for designers to collaborate through donating their amazing fabrics, and in turn advocating a better future for the children of garments workers in Bangladesh that the proceeds from sales go to.”
