Han Kjøbenhavn started out in 2008. First with a series of eyewear designs and has since then added complete clothing collections to their uncommon creative universe.
In February 2012 began a new chapter with the opening of the brand's own Flagship Store in the heart of Copenhagen. In 2013 they launched their first shop in SoHo NYC.
Han Kjøbenhavn has quickly become known for their aesthetics, the fine detail and not least the impressive quality. All Han Kjøbenhavn's eyewear designs are handmade of the best Italian acetate while their apparel collection are made of the finest garments out there.
Han Kjøbenhavn's expression has it's roots in the raw Danish working class while their aesthetics draws lines to the classic Danish furniture designers.
Based on the classic and an eye for contrasts, Han Kjøbenhavn combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics.
In Han Kjøbenhavn's short existence they have managed to get nominated for numerous awards, not only for their clothing but also for their Flagship Store and creative film making.
