Weekend Offender has always been heavily inspired by casual culture and influential sub cultures such as mods and skinheads. This is evident in the AW14 collection.
Although split into two distinct sections, Mainline and Category A, both collections feature parkas and clean crisp shirting.
For A/W 14, Weekend Offender has completed a subtle brand overhaul in line with its ongoing development and refinement.
The internal labels have been updated to a more muted and stylish cream-on-navy colourway. In accordance, the back neck tape on this colourway has also been changed.
The swing tag is now a clean navy waxed card with a cream prison logo and will feature in all garments across both tiers of the brand: Weekend Offender Mainline and Weekend Offender Category A.
The Weekend Offender branding has also been overhauled, too: all labeling has changed colours to navy and cream and gives a more polished feel, in line with how the brand has developed over the last few seasons.
Textured knitwear is also prominent along with technical fleece garments featuring contrast nylon pockets and trims.
Key fabrics include: nylon shimmer jackets, paisley cotton shirting and a woven repeat W fabric for shirting and trims.
Within the collection, two jackets also feature a handy Kent Comb: a smart collaboration for the brand and convenient accoutrement for its aficionados.
A taped seam Kagoule in three standout colours, through to a classic snorkel parka make this a heritage collection with a sharp, modern twist.
The AW14 collection is available from www.weekendoffender.com + it’s flagship soho store in London. The brands is also available across Europe and the USA.
