FENDI collaborates with Wes Anderson’s film "THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL"
FENDI renews its collaboration with the Cinema creating the coats and details pieces of the new Wes Anderson’s masterpiece, The Grand Budapest Hotel.
FENDI has developed throughout the sketches of the costume designer and Oscar winner Milena Canonero , the costumes and coats of some of the film's actors , including Edward Norton and Tilda Swinton.
FENDI has created a big double-breasted military style coat in grey astrakhan for the inspector Henckel (Edward Norton) a black mink collar , details and sleeve of the sumptuous hand painted Italian silk velvet cape, worn by Madame D ( Tilda Swinton ) .
Each garment has been carefully thought and designed with Milena Canonero , to recreate the perfect late 20’s atmosphere of the film.
All the pieces have been created in the historic FENDI fur atelier, a symbol of the highest savoir faire and the undisputed desire for experimentation.
