Goodyear SS'13 Footwear Collection

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has grown from humble beginnings to become one of the most iconic brands in the world. Goodyear’s first plant was purchased by founder, Frank A. Seiberling, in 1898. The rubber and cotton that were the lifeblood of the industry had to be transported from halfway around the world to a landlocked town with limited rail links. In spite of these obstacles the motivated team behind Goodyear helped drive the brand forward and inspire the culture of dynamism, development and innovation that endures today.

Given that tyres and shoes share a common need for grip, traction, performance and durability, it’s no surprise that Goodyear has been making a mark in the footwear business since 1901. From the rubber of Goodyear’s tyres to the rubber on the soles of their shoes product bearing the goodyear logo will perform in all conditions. Whether it is their work on the golf course or their projects in conjunction with powerhouses such as Adidas, Goodyear have applied the same dynamic, results driven approach.

The rugged durable qualities at the centre of the Goodyear ethos have been married seamlessly with both timeless and directional styles in the latest footwear collection.
