While OMEGA takes its role as Official Timekeeper of the London 2012 Olympic Games very seriously, the brand also enjoys providing a place for its brand ambassadors and VIPs to unwind. After a press conference at the OMEGA Boutique with Swatch Group CEO Nick Hayek, OMEGA President Stephen Urquhart and IOC President Jacques Rogge, the brand opened the doors of the OMEGA House and since 28 July has welcomed actors Nicole Kidman and Henry Cavill, astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Gene Cernan and Thomas Stafford, golfers Michelle Wie and Greg Norman and violinist Vanessa-Mae through its doors. The OMEGA House in London's Soho district has been a busy spot, hosting exclusive events, such as "Explore Space" and "A Taste of Russia", and amazing guests with the stunning design of the OMEGA watch-themed rooms inside the House of St Barnabas and the beautiful Secret Garden outside. The OMEGA House is the Swiss watchmaker's social activity hub throughout the Olympic Games.
