Chelsea Private Gardens Event | Open Squares 9 & 10 June

Cadogan Estates, as part of Open Garden Squares weekend in June 2012, welcomes visitors to exclusive access of the secluded and historic Cadogan Square Garden and Cadogan Place Gardens. The latter being the hidden treasure which used to be known as the London Botanic Garden and hosts 8.5 hectares of horticultural wonders discreetly hidden away behind the gates on Sloane street.

Visitors can enjoy unrivalled access to the usually private gardens for the 9th and 10th of June only. In Cadogan Place Gardens, Cadogan Estates are proud to present The Milkshakers, who will perform authentic 1950’s songs for visitors and garden enthusiasts alike. Chill out to mellow prom- style ballads or rock n’ roll around the shrubbery! Enjoy quintessential British picnic treats prepared especially for the occasion by The Cadogan Hotel. This pop-up take-away food bar will serve quaint finger sandwiches and afternoon tea as well as Pimm’s on the lawn.

Tickets are £9 online from http://www.opensquares.org/ or £12 from the gate during the day for access to all London gardens. Single admission to one garden is £3 and children under 12 go for free. The enchanting gardens will open from 10am – 5pm on Saturday 9 June and Sunday 10 June 2012.
Whilst sipping a cool glass of Pimm’s in the sun, enjoy the entertainment and the seclusion of one of London’s most secret gardens
