Christian Blanken continues to build on his main signature luxury sportswear ethos this time with an edgy toughness. S/S 12 layers bonded raw edge cut leathers over heavily ruched and intricately draped luxurious viscose silk jerseys, linen separates and dresses.
The S/S 12 collection is comprised of sharp tailored pieces, from boxed zipped jackets to clean line trousers, coupled with softer shaped dresses and tops all in classic hues. Christian has ensured that each piece remains true to the original androgynous aesthetic whilst incorporating feminine twists - perfectly balancing opposites.
A signature graphic stingray print features within the collection in a range of pieces such a slim jacket, body-wear as well as chiffon beach cover-ups. This print has also been reinterpreted with Swarovski Elements and features as an embellishment on a selection of garments, ranging from dresses, featherweight jersey t-shirts and new swimwear.
With a primary colour palette of black, silver and taupe with accents of peach and salmon the Christian Blanken S/S 12 collection is urban, functional and always luxurious.
