THE 'KING COAT' BY CROMBIE

The King Coat is a Crombie classic steeped in history, so called because it was favoured by British royalty - King George VI was a devotee. It has an aristocratic bearing with its wide, peaked wrapover lapel, empire proportions - the sweep of the coat is key - and beautiful herringbone cashmere-kissed cloth which is surprisingly light and easy to wear. A great three season coat.

Back in 1932 Crombie designed an exclusive coat for the Duke of York (later King George VI) for his visit to a Crombie Mill and In 2009 Crombie revised the design an re-released the ‘King Coat’, the design is available to buy in Camel in-store or online.

Verdict:  I love this coat its one of those pieces you can dress up or down and it still screams class and that I've arrived factor.....an investment piece you will have for years to come....

Check out the King Coat and the full crombie collection in-store or alternatively at http://www.crombie.co.uk/

Crombie is also available to purchase from Harrods of London and Selfridges & Co.
