The Body Shop to launch Colour Crush collection




The Body Shop is set to launch Colour Crush, a new collection of fashion-forward eyeshadows. With 30 shades available, from beiges to brights in a mix of pearly and matte finishes, these blendable and buildable colours can be applied wet or dry and worn alone. Available in a new clear, recyclable pack, each mono eyeshadow is priced at £7 and will be available nationwide from February.

I CANT LIVE WITHOUT... THE BODY SHOP MACCA ROOT FACE PROTECTOR




Normally on face creams or any grooming products I normally always go straight to the Demologica counter or Lab Series and would not even give The Body Shop a look in.... So at London Fashion Week this yesr in one of my many goodie bags I received some products from the For Men Range which inlcuded the Body Shop's Macca Root Energetic Face Protector and at present and in the future its something I can not live without - its does what it says on the bottle... It firms the skin which when I apply I can feel but not with the awful tight feeling which I have previously experienced with Dermologica... It hydrates but does not give you that greasy look which for me is good as I suffer from greasy skin (screaaaammm).  My skins feels firm, not greasy and it also smells sooooo good.  It's been around for a few years now but Ive just discovered it and its a great discovery... Its priced at £10 which is great for the pocket for me its the price of a pack of cigarettes and this is a better investment.... It really does work - what more can  I say apart from Go Buy It and Try It!

The Body Shop appoints Lily Cole as first ever global brand advocate




The Body Shop has announced the launch of a new beauty movement, Beauty With Heart. The new initiative will feature as a new store experience called Pulse, as well as through the support of activist and model Lily Cole (pictured here), the first global brand advocate for The Body Shop. Beauty With Heart will be rolling out in the UK from 3 May, with global roll out to follow from 1 May onwards.

Lily Cole commented: “I have long been an advocate of the potential of using business and consumer power to cause positive change. The Body Shop takes a responsible attitude to people and the environment, and it feels amazing to be supporting a brand who are pioneers in that way of working.”

The event: Elle Macpherson Celebrates 10 years of her Intimates with Tim Minchin at Selfridges










Although I was invited I come not make it down but here's what happen at the event!


Comedian Tim Minchin helped celebrate 10 years of Elle Macpherson Intimates live with ‘The Body’ herself, Elle Macpherson, at Selfridges London exclusively this afternoon.

Greeted by a crowd of eager customers and fans, Tim launched into a special rendition of happy birthday and performed a bespoke song to Elle and for the crowd as part of this one time event.






The audience were invited to join in the sing-along and welcomed to be part of the experience by playing everyone’s favourite party game, ‘pass the parcel’.

“I am deeply appreciative of my collaboration with Selfridges over the last 10 years and thank them for their support and enthusiasm, in helping to grow the Elle Macpherson Intimates brand. And what better way to celebrate than with my favourite Australian comedian, the very talented Tim Minchin.”
