Chloe Fall Winter 2014 Ad Campaign

“Don’t look back.”  On a gravel road in a deserted landscape of Harriman New York, two girls make their escape. There is a raw freshness to the windswept scene.  Where did they come from?  Where are they going?
These open questions create a sense of mystery. The girls become the heroines of their story, exuding strength and self-confidence. In a spontaneous moment, they seize their chance to run.  All roads lead to adventure.

“As with the collection, I wanted to create this sense of mystery, something strange and a little bit wild. I liked the idea of two girls escaping, moving forward. There’s a real beauty in the idea of chasing something hopeful.”
Clare Waight Keller, Chloé Creative Director

The Cinematography
Iconic photographers Inez and Vinoodh continue their partnership with Chloé, capturing the season’s story in a beautifully cinematic way. Focusing on narrative storytelling, the girls move through their wild escape and complicit road trip, until finally, they reach a moment of pure freedom and hope.
The natural soundtrack brings a sense of realism to the mise-en-scène: birds in the trees, the purr of the engine, tyres on gravel and a distant laugh. The light is cool and fresh as the girls pull their warm coats around them.

The Girls

Sasha Pivovarova – With an ethereal presence, she is mysterious and captivating. For Clare Waight Keller, Sasha embodies the peculiar magnetism of her season’s heroine.

Andreea Diaconu – The immediate beauty of this new Chloé girl leaves the viewer breathless. Her striking dark looks bring a mysterious twist to the signature femininity of Maison.
