On 2nd April Calzedonia held their annual swimwear catwalk show in Verona with top Models Sara Sampaio, Megan Williams and Sharam Diniz. The show started in a underwater world with seahorses and seashells adorning many of the models hair, and was then transformed into a tropical kingdom with wild flowers and giant blooms on swimsuits and one pieces inspired by exotic holidays.
Calzedonia’s swimwear collection for Spring Summer ’14 is all about making a style statement with vibrant colours and bold prints. Azure blue, fuchsia, turquoise and sherbet yellow form the key shades of the collection while giant flowers and floral embellishment, paisley, tassels and colourful crystals adorn one piece swimsuits and bikinis inspired by exotic beach holidays. The visual impact is immediate and each style, from triangle and Brazilian bikinis to the one-piece swimsuit, captures the essence of summer.
The collection includes an extensive beachwear line of simple and elegant maxi dresses and cover ups in lace and crochet that are stylish staple ideal for travelling. More muted tones of white, azure, and coral contrast beautifully with the bright hues of the swimwear while vivid blue tie dye vests and dresses hint at the colours of the sea.
