Giorgio Armani rejoined forces with longtime friend, award-winning actor and humanitarian Sean Penn in a continuation of the initiative in support of J/P Haitian Relief Organization (J/P HRO). On January 11th, the successful collaboration took place once again at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills for a charity dinner and auction chaired by Sean Penn, Bryan Lourd, Giorgio Armani and Roberta Armani. The event was also sponsored by NRG Energy Company. The evening, hosted by news anchor and television host Anderson Cooper, included a surprise performance by  U2.

J/P HRO is dedicated to saving lives and bringing sustainable programs to the Haitian people quickly and effectively. Following the devastating earthquake of 2010 J/P HRO began working immediately on the ground to make an impact in Haiti. Working with both government and non-governmental agencies to deliver immediate results where the need is greatest J/P HRO has become a leader in Haiti across multiple sectors working to improve living conditions providing medical services, education and community enrichment programs, new housing construction and neighborhood redevelopment. The goal of J/P HRO is to help lift the nation of Haiti out of poverty and give the Haitian people a better life. More information can be found atwww.jphro.org
