Salvatore Ferragamo is proud to announce the New York premiere of “Walking Stories”, held at the prestigious NeueHouse club on November 6th, 2013 and hosted by Stefano Tonchi, Editor in Chief of W magazine. After its exceptional success on the web, where it was released in October in eight bi-weekly episodes on walkingstories.ferragamo.com, Walking Stories was presented in full version for the first time to a selected number of guests.
Delicate and slightly surreal, “Walking Stories” is a romantic comedy directed by Luca Guadagnino (Melissa P, I am Love), featuring young actors Kaya Scodelario, Tom Ellis, Billy Manussen, Nathalie Buscombe, Lee Roy Kunze, and the elegant and ironic Lauren Hutton. It narrates a life changing trip full of surprising coincidences, unexpected revelations, and fortunate encounters - a love story that literally “walks” fast across the world.
As the story unveiled, the episodes created a fast growing engagement on Ferragamo digital environment, with an amazing favourability in the audience response and feedback, showing an always growing interest in the movie. Walking Stories was listed in the Top Ten Fashion Films of the Season by the BOF - Business of Fashion, the prestigious fashion blog, while among Ferragamo social accounts, YouTube registered more than 100,000 views for each episode, and Twitter gene- rated hundreds of thousands of engagements.
