Givenchy is pleased to announce the opening of a women’s mobile and tablet e-shop on September 9th with the Fall/Winter 2013 collection.
This occasion marks an innovation: the first time ever for a luxury brand to use “m-commerce” in launching an online store.
The App is available in English, French, German and Chinese. The iPhone and iPad App can be downloaded from the Apple’s appstore. Givenchy customers will discover the unique shopping experience with worldwide deliveries, including same-day delivery in London and NYC.
The men’s app will open late November with the Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
For this global online experience, Riccardo Tisci opted for a creative direction emphasizing clean graphics and architectural lines together with a very visual and instinctive access. The App is in line with Givenchy multilayered digital approach.
www.givenchy.com was launched on July 22nd in English and French. Chinese will be added in October. This unique platform invites internet users to discover the world of Givenchy through photos, videos and text. An art gallery-like display of images presents all the collections and news of the House set against a white background in burnt oak texture, reminiscent of Givenchy’s retail concept.
The same concept of contrast and symmetry is applied to the app, hence immersing e-shoppers in the Givenchy universe.
