Introducing Worn By's capsule collection Venice Beach

In the 1970s, the skate scene dominated Venice Beach & in particular the Venice Pavilion. 

The area was known as ‘The ghetto by the sea’ a seedy circus of gangs, street performers &hippies. 

A band of rough Venice locals tore skateboarding out of the hands of the clean-cut surfers & made it their own. 

Nowadays the Venice skate scene looks a lot more polished but the mentality of its skaters stay true 

to the gritty soul of Venice skateboarding.
