Walter Steiger SS 13 is both a unique and colourful collection ... I've totally gelled myself to the brand because as you know once I love something and believe in a brand and what they are about I like to tell the world!

The House of Walter Steiger.....

Steiger was founded in 1932 by Walter Steiger, a Geneva-based craftsman dedicated to creating unique, custom-made footwear. Walter’s eldest son took a keen interest in the traditional techniques utilized by his father, and soon began to implement his creativity onto the design process.

Walter Steiger “junior” brought the brand international acclaim after opening the first ready-to-wear Steiger boutique in Paris. The Paris location marked the beginning of a Steiger expansion, followed by the opening of boutiques in New York, London, and Milano.

Now many years on the brand is not only one of my favourites but a favourite amongst fashionista for the quirkiness and colour palettes .... and not forgetting that iconic heel which can be seen on most of the brands pumps.... there are many followers who have taken that heel but these are the originals
