Today marks the launch of Citizens of Humanity’s 12 month charity video campaign “Just Like You”. Each month, two videos will be released featuring interesting and respected creatives and professionals from a variety of cultural backgrounds including Michelin-starred chefs, pro-surfers and this month prolific ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov (who you may also recognise as “The Russian” from Sex and the City!). The videos offer an insight into the lives of these people as they muse on their lives and achievements. For October Baryshnikov is profiled alongside founder of Citizens of Humanity and denim guru Jerome Dahan. Each month the two participants will also design /customise a tee that will be sold online, with all proceeds going to a charity of their choice.
“You go through your daily routine with the hope that you will be a little better…and do something meaningful. I believe this program does something significant both in its philanthropy and in hopefully inspiring others in their creative journey,” said Baryshnikov.
