Due to the success of the brand, Cro’Jack is delighted to be launching its first retail shop in Covent Garden, London. Designed to offer excellent customer service and provide an authentic piece of British textile tailoring, Cro’Jack supplies great designs at competitive prices using the very best fabrics and components. Cro’Jack hopes that this first outlet centred in the heart of London, will be the first of many retail spaces to come to cope with the brand’s growing popularity.
Cro’Jack is the brainchild of Dean Batty and Daljit Mehat, who with their extensive experience in the textile industry decided to establish their own clothing collection, with the premise of supplying first-class clothing manufactured in the UK, ensuring a strong and authentic British image.
The Cro'Jack Collections draw inspiration from British history, particularly eras with a military influence and an emphasis on functionality.
The aim of Cro’Jack is to create clothing with great attention to detail, using where possible British fabrics and components.
The desire to produce fantastic quality garments using British know-how is something paramount to the Cro'Jack brand and design team and our USP ‘Made in England’. All outerwear is produced in our own factory, with the facilities including a quilting and webbing plant, a dye house and an onsite embroidery service. Other product groups such as knitwear, bags, trousers and jeans are all sourced and produced by local factories in keeping with the brand’s patriotic ideals.
Cro’Jack was also born out of a love for fabrics and authenticity; many of the jackets are inspired by military and utility garments and all the fabrics come with some provenance.
Some famous British fabrics included in the collections are Ventile - a fabric first developed during wartime England, British based Mallalieus 100% Pure New Wool, Liberty’s Tana Lawn, Harris Tweed oiled wool and Cro’Jack is also working closely with British Millerain developing a range of fascinating washable wax cottons.
“I really hope that people enjoy wearing the new Cro’Jack collection as much as we have enjoyed putting it together. If any of the above intrigues you, please pop along to our wonderful new store. We feel the location for our first store couldn’t be better as Seven Dials has a lovely village feel in the middle of a metropolis – perfectly encapsulating our brand” says Dean.
