Luxury ready to wear label Moka London, show the new Spring /Summer ‘13 Collection off the catwalk at their London Showroom in Imperial Wharf. Already well received by international buyers at Who’s Next in July, Creative Director Dania Sakka plays with a mixture of textures and prints that are seen across an array of modern designs including; bodies, catsuits, structured tops with subtle peplums, a variation of jackets, dresses, full length skirts and tailored trousers.
Chic casual wear is dominant with luxe jersey tees, abstract mini skirts, and metallic striped culottes with over sized boyfriend blazers or light weight kimono jackets to complete the look. The finest silks, Italian jersey and linens have been mixed with edgy man made fabrics such as the basket weave and poise to give the separates a sporty feel.
Graphic structured shapes are mixed with romantic floaty silhouettes for evening wear and exquisite hand embroidery embellishes the finest tulles on sheer organza dresses. The colour palette is neutral with tones of black, white and blush which are complimented with touches of silver and gold metallic throughout.
Moka is a partnership, Dania Sakka is the designer and creative force behind the brand whilst Mona Mourad handles the business and production side, both women have been friends since childhood and have recently realised their dream of launching a designer label together.
