Giorgio Armani dressed selected nominees, presenters and attendees at the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The awards ceremony took place on Sunday evening, September 23rd, at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, and was broadcasted live on ABC at 8pm EDT/5pm PDT.
Lena Headey, who stars in "Game of Thrones,” which had eleven nominations including Outstanding Drama Series, wore a dramatic black Armani Prive gown. The silk and lace dress is encrusted with black paillettes. It is highlighted with delicate spaghetti straps, a low-cut fitted bodice and a flowing skirt. The look was completed with a diaphanous black silk netting overlay, creating an ethereal effect.
Jon Hamm, nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his work in “Mad Men,” wore a Giorgio Armani two-button midnight blue wool and cashmere peak lapel tuxedo with a matching vest. The outfit was completed with a classic evening shirt and bow tie.
Clive Owen, nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for his work in “Hemingway & Gellhorn,” has chosen a Giorgio Armani two-button midnight blue peak lapel tuxedo with a classic evening shirt and bow tie.
Bill Paxton, nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for his work in “Hatfields & McCoys,” selected a Giorgio Armani two-button peak lapel tuxedo with a classic evening shirt and bow tie.
Jon Stewart, host of “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” and winner of the Outstanding Variety Series award, wore a Giorgio Armani one-button black peak lapel suit with a classic shirt and black neck tie.
Mark Wahlberg, executive producer of “Boardwalk Empire,” which had twelve nominations including Outstanding Drama Series, selected a Giorgio Armani two-button midnight blue notch collar tuxedo with a classic evening shirt and bow tie.
Matt Barr, who stars in “Hatfields & McCoys,” which had sixteen nominations including Outstanding Miniseries or Movie, wore a Giorgio Armani two-button shawl collar tuxedo with a classic evening shirt and neck tie.
Evan Peters, who stars in “American Horror Story,” which had seventeen nominations including Outstanding Miniseries or Movie, has chosen an Emporio Armani one-button shawl collar tuxedo with a classic evening shirt and bow tie.
