Renowned British jockey Hayley Turner joined forces with Chantal Sutherland of the USA and Canada’s Emma Jayne Wilson to celebrate the FIRST EVER ALL FEMALE RACING TEAM to compete at any meet across the globe. Fashion designer Louise Gray joined the jockeys who sported a specially made dress by the Scottish designer.
The female jockeys will ride against three male teams at the world’s premier international jockey’s competition, The Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup on August 11th at Ascot racecourse. It will be the first time there has ever been an all female racing team at any meet across the globe. To celebrate this momentous occasion, leading London fashion designer Louise Gray designed dresses for the ladies to wear in the colours of their racing silks, fuchsia and black. They might be pink, but they strong, striking design represents that they are a force to be reckoned with. Underestimate them at your peril gents!
