Harrys of London and AOI Partnership
Harrys of London partners with AOI Company for expansion in Japan.
Harrys of London, the innovative British men’s footwear and accessories house have partnered with Japan’s AOI Company Limited to expand the brand into the Japanese market.
The AOI Company has a long and successful history of working with well known European brands in Japan such as Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Salvatore Ferragamo, Bulgari and Christian Louboutin.
Harrys of London is the latest brand to tap AOI’s international reputation, expertise and keen eye for long-term market opportunities in Japan.
Harrys of London and AOI are currently working to launch the first HOL shop-in-shop inside the new HANKYU MEN’S flagship store in Ginza (Opening 15 October 2011). Harrys of London will also debut in Hankyu’s Osaka store at the same time. Hankyu is known for its impressive roster of European luxury brands, as well as, its high standards of customer service.
Harrys of London Chief Executive Officer, Giuseppe Bonfiglio commented: “We are honoured to be working with the AOI team and with Hankyu. Collaborating with AOI’s top strategists to direct and maximize the brand’s potential here has been a great experience. To open shops with Hankyu in Tokyo and Osaka is a significant milestone in our international expansion”.
Kevin Martel, Harrys of London Designer and Creative Director is anticipating the launch at Hankyu: “Hankyu is a store with deep roots in both Tokyo and Osaka. These are markets where the customer seeks quality, design and serious innovation. The Japanese customer really understands our craftsmanship.”
