Bethan Wood presents her “Push’n’Pivot” rings and Jewellery pieces from her “Particle” collection. Through breaking the boundaries between art, design, fashion and other creative fields and fusing processes and practices from bespoke furnishing, product design and accessories, Bethan Wood is leading the field amongst a new generation of multidiscipline designers. The “Particle” collection is a side project to a large scale furniture project where using off cuts from complex lacquered wood laminate and formica mosaics, bracelets, bangles and rings are fashioned in geometric shapes with limited edition runs. This unique approach to accessories design embraces the values of up-cycling and sustainability in a truly pioneering way to create a new discourse between product design and fashion accessories.


Particle Bracelets

“Push’n’Pivot” are a range of interactive rings in copper, gold and silver that enable to wearer to push, pull, pivot and play with the form and layer multiple pieces to create increasingly intricate designs. As ever, the collection takes on a produce design / art focus once rings are full pivoted and stacked as filigree metallic sculptures in their own right. Statement pieces that work both on, and off the body are the focus of Bethan Wood’s aesthetic.
