TISSOT LAUNCHES MOTOGP T RACE WATCHES FOR 2012


Official Timekeeper Tissot launches its 2012 MotoGPTM Collection

Le Locle, 29 March 2012. Tissot has been entrusted with the official timekeeping of the world’s premier motorcycle racing championship for this thirteenth consecutive year. Today, to mark the beginning of the new exhilarating MotoGPTM season filled with surprises, Tissot launched the new watches dedicated to this thrilling sport.





Tissot presented its two official MotoGPTM limited watches for the year, comprising of two Tissot T-Race MotoGPTM Limited Edition 2012 watches; an automatic and a quartz version.

Both models display an eye-catching and dynamic black based strap with a yellow aerodynamic T-line that races around the wrist. Their colours and design are inspired by the impressive MotoGPTM machines, from the dashboard-inspired dial to the bezel illustrating the bike’s break disc. These watches have the robustness of a champion with their carbon fibre composites inspired by those of the bikes themselves.






The automatic model is driven by the revolutionary C01.211 chronograph movement and limited to 2012 pieces to mark the year. Its quartz teammate will be produced in a series of 8,888 pieces. Both of these timepieces are presented in a MotoGPTM checkered flag collector’s box. These watches will make sure riders, timekeepers and fans are right on track to be in first place at every sensational race of the season.
