Jimmy Choo press event at the new men's store

This morning I had the pleasure of being invited to the first stand alone men's Jimmy Choo store. Located in London's Burlington Arcade, the store offers men with flair inspiration for their feet.

British luxury accessories brand Jimmy Choo, announces the opening of the world’s first men’s only store located in London’s Mayfair. The store is set inside the landmark Burlington Arcade, linking the tailoring district of Saville Row to the haberdashers of Jermyn Street and the international luxury brands of Bond Street. The Jimmy Choo store will extend across two floors, and offer a complete assortment of Jimmy Choo men’s shoes.
The men’s shoe collection is a perfect balance between classicism and Rock ‘n Roll style. The collection is a focused but versatile lifestyle offering, covering several moods of getting dressed with more formal styles such as lace-ups, monk straps, loafers, side zip boots and slippers, and rugged masculine boots such as Chelsea boots and Bikers. Trainers appear detailed in both subtle and more eccentric materials.

The space will reflect the global design concept for the men’s collection, echoing the sensibility of the Jimmy Choo brand. The interior colour scheme of charcoal grey, black and silver evokes a modern gentlemanly aesthetic with a hint of a 1960s Mayfair playboy. Ebonized wood fuses with grey flannel and English pewter hardware to further reference the sartorial inspiration.

Describing the handsome surroundings of the store, Tamara Mellon OBE, Jimmy Choo Founder and Chief Creative Officer commented, 'I want it to feel as though you are walking into a gentleman’s club, with all the luxurious appointments and comforts. It’s a mod update on an English men’s smoking lounge.'

The store is home to the whole collection with great shoes such as the Sloane loafers which are my personal favourites. The shop is in a landmark location and a nice touch to the collection is the shoes are named after landmarks in London - for example Sloane - Sloane Square and Portman after Portman square.

The collection has something for everyone is definitely worth checking out, no matter you style the new Jimmy Choo store and men's collection has shoes for you!!!

Guys! We have heard the ladies talk about Jimmy Choo shoes for years - now its our time to talk the talk and of course walk the walk !!

Today's shoes are from Jimmy Choo and are for men from the debut AW 11 collection.  They are called Holborn, and are rugged oiled suede which I particularly like so they are already distressed so no need to worry about puddles!!

minimal and modern expression of an English classic with a 60's inspired pewter buckle. Holborn is available in port coloured rugged suede...
