SAKS FIFTH AVENUE FLAGSHIP TO OPEN CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN SHOE SALON

NEW YORK, NY (Wednesday, May 5, 2013) - Saks Fifth Avenue announced today its plans to enhance the New York store’s 10022-SHOE salon even further with another win for the flagship, Christian Louboutin’s first in-store shoe salon in the US. The luxury shoe brand is scheduled to unveil the shop mid-June.

"We are very excited to open the first Christian Louboutin in-store shoe salon here at our New York Flagship," stated Ron Frasch, President and Chief Merchandising Officer of Saks Fifth Avenue. "Christian has been an incredible partner to Saks, and we are thrilled to provide loyal customers of the brand with an innovative shopping environment."
Christian Louboutin together with New York based architectural and product design company 212box worked to create an original interior design that compliments the unique character of the space and its environs whilst delivering a dynamic experience for the customer.

While preserving the brand’s distinct interior elements, such as the arched niche walls and signature red carpet, new exciting additions to the shop’s decor include hand carved Burma teak wooden tiles, and a large storefront window that will change seasonally. Polished stainless steel display tables and red sand stone, chosen for their prized fossil creatures by Christian Louboutin himself in Morocco, are complimented by banquettes covered in colorful geometric patterns and of course, an array of exquisite shoes. At 1641 square feet, the boutique will be one of the largest for Louboutin

worldwide as well as a new concept with a great mix of handbags, shoes and specialty products.
“We are thrilled that Saks has given us such a great opportunity to express Christian’s world with a very unique concept. Saks has been a great partner over the last several years and we are happy to continue to serve their customers in an enhanced setting,” said Alexis Mourot, COO of Christian Louboutin.

In celebration of the launch, Saks Fifth Avenue produced an exciting teaser video depicting Mr. Louboutin’s dream of the journey of the red soles from Paris, across the ocean to New York City, and through the doors of Saks Fifth Avenue.
The video can be found on Saks Fifth Avenues YouTube

Agnes b new concept store

THE NEW CONCEPT STORE
Marylebone High street

Since opening a ‘Gallery/Boutique’ in New York’s Howard street, agnès b was keen to have a similar space in London where she could combine both art and fashion, and where she can show new and established artists, alongside the new season’s collections.

The new store will have committed areas to show artworks that will sit alongside the clothes and will give our customers the opportunity to enjoy the art whilst shopping within an informal environment.

The store will see dramatic changes and create a unique and ‘feel good’ shopping environment with the end transformation being able to house the complete agnès b. collection for both homme and femme. We will also re introduce layette into the store, with the ultimate basics for babies.

The 1st floor has been opened up and creates an exceptional open, light and elegant space that will become a relaxed shopping environment, meanwhile the ground floor continues to be dedicated to women’s wear and will have an area dedicated to the artwork, Layette (babies) and Voyage, the all essential luggage and bag collection.

Menswear has a complete new home in the basement that has been totally transformed to show the best of the men’s wear collection and again will have dedicated space to show artwork in the original vaults that are part of the Marylebone basement. The store looks forward to hosting a dedicated men’s weekend for the stores launch at the end of May, with on hand styling tips and wardrobe advice from the professionals.
