HeartArt art charity weekend

HeartArt Weekend Artshow & Auction helps Heart Radios charity

WHAT: HeartArt is a new volunteering activity launching a summer and winter ArtPR and charity event as part of a biannual student-art exhibition produced to promote a selection of London based undergraduate and postgraduate artists whilst raising awareness and funds for Heart radios charity Have a Heart. Activity also includes an art auction of surprise celebrity drawings donated to raise money for Hearts charity. HeartArt (spring2012) events are part-sponsored by JohnJones.co.uk

WHO: Party & Paper a local voluntary art promotions agency annually promote UK childrens charities by gathering a selection of extraordinary London illustrators, photographers, graphics and fashion designers, sculpture, textile, and craft makers, all under the age of thirty to have new works displayed discovered and sold at networking art afternoons.

WHEN: 27th - 29th April 2012 HeartArt hosts a Spring Summer weekend artshow WHERE: @Sanctum Soho Hotel, 20 Warwick Street, London W1B 5NF

WHY: Publishing & Media student, Monelle Bryce founded voluntary ArtPR agency Party & Paper in 2010 after having toured City Youth Art Afternoons every summer and winter across London since her teens. Since 2005 Monelle managed to secure over £10,000 in funding to host and coordinate annual art and charity promotions events held at venues such as The Dorchester Hotel and The Foundling Museum; HeartArt will be her 11th exhibition produced through the promotional works of her dissertation-project art agency, Party & Paper.

Its exciting to connect creative people together and organize seasonal artshows for charity - the events provide free publicity for artists who are unable to afford traditional costly PR, young artists especially appreciate opportunities to introduce and sell worthy works to trade and the art-loving public.
HeartArt opens its spring/summer weekend artshow on Friday 27th April 2012 until Sunday 29th April. Charity fundraising support includes a cute piggy bank collecting donations at Sarah Owen and Lily Coopers vintage boutique Lucy in Disguise; goody bags with content featuring Moschino treats; Molly Bakes cakepops and cupcakes will be featured for sale at HeartArt events; a prize draw includes gifts donated from Giraffe Restaurants, SpaceNK, Paperchase, Cest Ici, I Love Lola, and more. A celebrity donated art auction including art submitted by Kelly Rowlands hairdresser Charley McEwen and his TV clients; PR guru, TV presenter and fashion editor for OK!TV Nick Ede submits a painting, plus a few lovelies of channel 4s Made in Chelsea cast are also participating with a surprise mix of other fun donations to help raise funds for Heart radios charity, Have a Heart.

Made In Chelsea - Millie Mackintosh to launch The Incredible Body

Millie Mackintosh launches The Incredible Body for Umberto Giannini

Millie Mackintosh, from Made In Chelsea, has become the first star from the reality show to use her new found fame to tie up an amazing contract with top hair care brand Umberto Giannini. Millie plays a super sexy femme fatale in a graphic online novel; The Incredible Body, which launches Umberto Giannini's new hair care range.

The interactive, black and white novel, set in London, shows Millie as a hyper-glamourised version of herself with killer hair and an attitude to match. The narrative plays out as a stunning, highly stylised, 1950s influenced interactive graphic novel where every frame has a detail of movement.

The Incredible Body, developed using the popular blogging platform, Tumblr, brings Millie and her desires to life, allowing the viewer to live and share every moment. Millie said: "The character in this video was great fun to act. It felt really sexy to play the “femme fatale” role! I love the film noir, 1920’s feel to it all and think it captures the glamorous essence of the Incredible Body range perfectly”
The video is available at http://www.incrediblebody.co.uk/

Umberto Giannini’s ethos of No Plain Janes has been at the basis of the graphic online novel. They believe in bringing high-end hair and beauty styling to the high street - taking the art of glamour from the few to the many. Umberto Giannini create products that help the user to master the art of transformation and are stocked exclusively in Boots stores nationwide.
