Edun and Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills celebrated the launch of the Edun Pop-Up Shop and Collection at Neiman Marcus with a runway show and cocktail party



Special guests including actor Colin Farrell, Quincy Jones and Akon joined Edun founders Ali Hewson and Bono in the front row, which saw the women’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection make its way down a runway on the rooftop of Neiman’s. The runway show was an exclusive recreation of Edun’s Spring/Summer 12





The Pop-up shop brings to life the concept of “The Garden of Edun” with a living wall of succulents as the backdrop for Edun’s colorful prints. Edun’s Beautiful Rebels Ad Campaign is featured in a video monitor within the living wall. The collection juxtaposes bothiconic floral and African prints, bringing two contrasting worlds together in signature Edun style. Now open on the third floor of Neiman’s, shoppers are able to view the installation and purchase the collection until March 8th.

CELEBS ARE LOVING ARTIST CLAIRE MILNER

Claire an artist is becoming so what of a name with celebtirties for her artwork in which she uses Swarovski Crytsals, paper and sstuds to create.  Rihanna has spent tens of thousands of pounds on a giant Marilym Monroe made out of 65,000 Swarovski Crystals by the North Yorkshire artist.  The star commisioned claire to create the picture of the Hollywood icon and then spent thousands having it shipped in her home in Beverley Hills.

Solange is proud to announce that for two privileged days in her Beverly Hills, London and New York boutiques the Ruby Slippers worn by Judy Garland as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (1939) will be showcased before being auctioned off as part of the “Icons of Hollywood’ three day auction by the leading dealership Profiles in History*. “They were much more than just a piece of Hollywood memorabilia, much more than a valuable piece of industry history. They transcended Hollywood, to the point where they represented the powerful image of innocence to all America."- Rhys Thomas writes in his book The Ruby Slippers of Oz.

As Solange says ‘The Ruby slippers will feel right at home over my rainbow carpet and in my emerald city’.

London-22nd-23rd November-On the 22nd Vanity Fair’s Jewelry editor Elizabeth Saltzman will be hosting a cocktail at the boutique. On the 23rd Solange will be hosting a tea for friends and children with a screening of The Wizard of Oz. For both events Solange has partnered with St Mungo’s a charity for the homeless. 10% of sales proceeds will go to St Mungo’s.

Beverly Hills-14TH-15th November-For the event Solange has partnered with the LA Opera*, 10% of sales proceeds will go to them.

New York-7th -8th December-Solange will be hosting a private Charity dinner in the boutique with the Starlight Children foundation. 10% of sales proceeds will go to the Starlight Children foundation.
