Sunday 14th June saw the unveiling of House of Holland’s debut menswear collection on
schedule at London Collections Men. Taking the form of a private view gallery exhibition in
collaboration with famed photographer Martin Parr, this collection will go on sale immediately
at selected stockists – shaking up the seasonal concepts shared through the industry and
communicating directly to consumer.
With launch partners in place through Europe, Asia and USA - including Selfridges, Opening Ceremony, Galeries Lafayette (Paris and Beijing) - the collection will hit the shop floors as
the presentation unfolds in London, allowing consumers to buy into the trend simultaneously.
Teds, casuals, buffalo kids, ravers and other tribal uniforms from various youth subcultures make an appearance in this provocative debut. Fusing sportswear in technical fabrics with more traditional tailoring techniques and fabrications, House of Holland have created an exciting and innovative collection that reflects the codes and DNA of the brand.
As part of this collection, Henry has worked on a small collaborative capsule collection with celebrated British photographer Martin Parr, who will be showcasing exclusive campaign photography in line with House of Holland’s new collection.
"In the time I have been doing womenswear shows I've always been focused on ways to make the catwalk presentation process more relevant to my consumer. To launch the menswear collection on schedule and in store simultaneously with menswear I feel like we have found a great solution to the ‘see now, want now, buy now’ culture we are increasingly working within. I'm excited to see the reaction!”
