Shanghai Fashion Week headliner, Ji Cheng’s diffusion line ZH by Ji Cheng introduces Project Glimmer – a capsule collection of sweatshirts designed exclusively to support children with hearing and speaking difficulties through art therapy. The award-winning designer worked through 40 different designs before the now globally renowned Wing Sweatshirt was chosen as the representative piece for Project Glimmer.
Known for expertly blending Eastern influences with Western tailoring, the sweatshirt takes inspiration from the classic crew. Three-dimensional wings are hand embroidered and secured piece-by-piece onto the sleeves. The sweatshirts are unisex and available in a range of colours including white, blue, black and red.
Armed with 16 stockists, three own-label boutiques and significant brand equity within the Asian market, Ji Cheng’s diffusion line complements her current mainline collection with a range of highly wearable luxury t-shirts, sweatshirts and skirts.
Project Glimmer has received huge support from Ji Cheng’s celebrity friends, including American songstress Taylor Swift and top Chinese celebrities Jay Chou, Rosamund Kwan, Will Liu, Chris Lee and Yisa Yu. Selling over 10,000 units upon launch, the Wing Sweatshirt has set a new sales record for Ji Cheng.
